At Peace

Thank you to those who have passed along kind thoughts. My mother slipped away peacefully yesterday morning. My father was at the bedside, holding her hand as she left. I'll be taking a few more days off from blogging during this sweet, sad time.

Diane, that sounds like a beautiful goodbye. I'll be thinking warm thoughts for you and your family. Let us know if there's anything we can do...we're just down the road!

The peacefulness of the photo was remarkably comforting to an outsider. But as an insider, I am sure the view is different. My thoughts are with you.

Diane, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost my parents a few years ago. It is a huge hole. Art is a wonderful way to work through your emotions. Sharon
