Franklin County Fiber Twist

Pre-Felts

Franklin County Fiber Twist is less than a week away and since I'll be quite busy toward the end of the week I've started getting products packed.  After weighing and labeling all my Pre-Felts, I just had to spread them all out for a group shot.

Pre-Felts
My Pre-Felts come from my processor with the edges un-felted; I choose not to remove this part as when I'm personally using them in projects I sometimes find it helpful to have a little carded fiber in the same color to use.

oh my these are just beautiful colors. I am in love with them all. Want to run right out there to northampton and FIND you - would love anything like this that you have on offer for sale. Also thanks so much for visiting my blog and offering an encouraging comment. I was plenty busy without all the new cloth weaving activity but the class energy and Jude's sensitive directions make it impossible not to follow the muse.

ACey, Thank you so much for your encouragement. I'm thinking a lot about working some of this felt with the batik rayon for the Cloth to Cloth online course we're both taking. Something about bright, fine- woven batik against felt.

I will eventually be offering pieces of this felt and other items on this blog; perhaps not until after the three fairs that I have coming up this fall. One is today; in fact I need to get off this laptop, feed the animals, and get myself off to the Fiber Twist!

Thanks so much for your kind comment. Having sheep and doing allf the fiber stuff is lots of work but it's fun to share my experiences by blogging.
